Prescott Dental Arts announced the launch of a teeth-in-a-day treatment as part of an expansion of its dental implant practice. Patients can now get a new set of immobile teeth, regain 90% of their original chewing capacity, and enjoy a restored smile.

The American Dental Association estimates that 26% of Americans lose all of their natural teeth by the age of 74. Prescott Dental Arts have launched the Teeth in 1 Day treatment for those who have lost several teeth or are in danger of losing their teeth.
As part of this procedure, as few as four permanent implants are positioned while patients are under IV sedation or oral conscious sedation. Natural teeth are swapped out for a set of non-removable replacements. Because these dental implants are designed for immediate use, bone grafting is mostly unnecessary.
According to the team at Prescott Dental Arts, patients who already wear dentures or have several failing teeth stand to benefit the most from the teeth-in-a-day procedure. Following their recovery, patients can eat, speak, and smile with ease.
For the teeth-in-a-day procedure, the team will arrange a preliminary consultation to collect data for a comprehensive treatment plan. A 3D CatScan, jaw-related records, impressions, X-rays, and photographs may be required. After this assessment, the patient is booked for the procedure and the new teeth are then placed in one sitting.
Four months after the procedure, a titanium bar is placed to strengthen the patient’s teeth. Optionally, a removable Marius Bridge can be placed at the final sitting.
The implant practice at Prescott Dental Arts is headed by David Herbert, DDS, who moved to Prescott and joined the Dental Arts practice in July 2014, earning a bachelor’s degree in microbiology as a Hinckley scholar from Brigham Young University. Dr. Herbert was chosen to serve in the Advanced General Dentistry division at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry after completing his dental surgery degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
A spokesperson for Prescott Dental Arts commented: “The best advancement in dentistry is the availability of dental implants for patients. They provide our patients with what they had previously lost, and when it comes to tooth replacement, they are the most practical choice. Many people feel forced to use dentures or risk harming their healthy teeth for porcelain bridgework because they are losing some or all of their teeth. We are happy to now offer new teeth-in-a-day implants. Please feel free to contact our office to schedule a consultation.”
